This survey lead by wakefiweld Research between July and August 2019, collected responses from 7,850 business travelers taking at least Three trips per year.
Behind these figures lies a need to simplify the processes that business travellers face daily, especially when it comes to booking: 58% of business travellers believe that the technology implemented within their company does not meet their expectations.
This need for technology and process simplification is partly linked to a desire to have more mobile services in the field of business travel. Mobile services that do not only respond to one stage of the travel process, as there are many of them today, but rather an application that is directly linked to the company and can be used for multiple services, as shown by the homogeneity of business travellers’ needs in the graph “Get more mobile”.
